What to expect

Each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., we come together as a church family to praise God and grow in our faith.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a member of our welcome team. Their purpose is to help you feel at home. We want you to know that we’re glad you are here. He or she will also help you with practical things like directions to worship, restrooms and classrooms and answer any questions you may have about the morning’s activities.

Our worship has passion – our songs and sermons come from hearts that love God and trust in Christ. We sing both traditional hymns and modern worship songs. We believe God is more interested in our hearts of praise than the style of our music. Sermons are based on the Bible and focus on God’s will for us and how we live for Jesus from Monday to Sunday. Messages are geared toward challenge rather than complacency.

Music is an important part of our worship because it leads us to praise God in spirit, mind, heart and body. We have many talented musicians who lead worship in choirs, worship bands and on instruments. Together, we “make a joyful noise to the Lord”.

Our worship has structure, but it is diverse and inclusive to involve the congregation. When the person sitting beside you greets you, you’ll know that you are among friends! That person could be from your neighborhood, or from around the world. They might be a father holding a baby, or a retired widow. God has blessed our church family with people of all ages and backgrounds. And, everyone is considered part of the family and is cared about by others!

We’d love for you to share in our worship! Our worship services are Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Nursery care is provided during the service. Kids 3 yo to 5th grade are dismissed mid-service for Sunday school at the Discovery Land. After the service, all are welcomed to fellowship at the Connection Café in the Fellowship Hall. Education Hour classes for all ages begins at 11:00 a.m.
