Discovery Land
Bringing the Bible to life. Discovery Land is a “year-round curriculum that is Bible-based, Gospel-centered, engaging, visitor-friendly, includes hands-on learning opportunities, and it’s FUN!”
Sunday Mornings
Discovery Land is offered for children ages birth through 5th grade.
- Nursery: Birth through age 2, Nursery Room open at 9:30 – 10:40 am
- Preschool thru K: Ages 3 to 5, children are dismissed to Discovery Land during the worship service (10:00 – 10:40 am).
- Elementary: Ages 6 to 10, children are dismissed to Discovery Land during the worship service (10:00 – 10:40 am).
What Happens at Discovery Land?
Discover Time: This is where the lesson comes to life through a hands-on experience. Kids will not only walk away with the truth of God’s Word, they will EXPERIENCE it!. Kids rotate through different stations including sand, water, building blocks, chalk wall, missions, cooking, play dough, and art.
Bible Lesson: Children will dig into the Word of God and learn to apply the truths to their lives. The lesson is taught with creative elements that will help children remember the lesson for a lifetime.
Wednesday Nights – Awana Programming
What is Awana?
For more than seven decades, the Lord has used the ministry of Awana to reach kids, equip leaders and change the world with the power of His Word. The unchanging truth of the Gospel drives the vision we’ve held all these years to engage every child in every corner of the world with the hope of the Gospel. And it all starts with one.
Awana is being offered for children ages 3 through 10. Awana runs from September through May on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:15pm. At Awana, the kids have the opportunity to learn, build friendships, and grow in their faith. In addition, family events will be scheduled throughout the year. Nursery childcare is available for younger siblings.
Safety
All Awana and Discovery Land students must be picked up by an adult in their classrooms. We screen and do background checks on all children’s ministry staff and volunteers for your child’s protection.
